2. Scope
These Terms of Use govern browsing and general use of the Sites. Use of the SciScope Scanner Feed data service and API is governed separately by the Terms of Service. If you subscribe to the Service, the Terms of Service prevail for everything concerning the Service.
3. Informational content; no advice
3.1. The content of the Sites is provided for general information about SciScope and its services. It does not constitute security, legal or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as the sole basis for any decision.
3.2. Figures, statistics and comparisons shown on the Sites (for example, false-positive measurements of public blocklists) are point-in-time measurements made on the dates stated alongside them. Public lists change continuously; the figures are illustrative and are not a promise about any list's — or the Service's — current or future content.
4. Intellectual property
4.1. The Sites and their content (text, graphics, layout, logos) are owned by SciScope OÜ or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws.
4.2. You may view the Sites, and quote brief excerpts and cite our published statistics with attribution and a link to the source page. Wholesale reproduction or republication of Site content requires our prior written consent.
5. Acceptable use
You must not disrupt or attempt to disrupt the Sites, subject them to unauthorized security testing, or scrape them at bulk scale. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please email hello@sciscope.ee — coordinated disclosure is welcomed.
6. Privacy
6.1. The Sites are static pages: they set no cookies, run no analytics or tracking, and load no third-party resources.
6.2. The Sites are served through a content-delivery network (Cloudflare), which processes visitors' IP addresses and related technical data to deliver and protect the Sites.
6.3. If you email us (for example to request a trial), we process the personal data you provide to respond and to manage the relationship, as described in our Privacy Notice at https://sciscope.ee/privacy.
7. Third-party sites
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Sites are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SciScope is not liable for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Sites or their content. Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (including § 106(2) of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act).
9. Changes
We may update these Terms of Use at any time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Sites constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by Estonian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus), Estonia.
